Join us for some fun and exciting events this weekend… all of them helping support some great causes.

The 12th Annual Race for the Arts in William Land Park on Saturday August 28, 2010 from 8:30am to noon.  This is your opportunity to support your favorite arts organization and/or school program and get a little exercise in the 5k. Stop by the Race for the Arts and be entertained by costumed characters, music, art, dance, and interactive booths.

After the race stop by and see Hall’s Window Center at Graffiti Night on Historic Sutter Street in Folsom on Saturday from 1pm – 8pm. Graffiti Night is a classic car show with over 160 classic cars. There will also be live bands, great food, and plenty of shopping.

If you are in the Rocklin area on Sunday make sure you grab your pooch and head out to Woofstock 2010. Woofstock is being held on August 29th from 9am to 2pm. There is going to be a 3K/5K walk run, a canine obstacle course, and a doggy costume contest.

Tomorrow night Hall’s Window Center is going to be at the Annual Ho’ Down for Habitat  rib cook off. There will be a ton of great food, music and dancing. The fun starts at 4pm and goes until 10pm. An auction and raffle is being held from 7pm to 8pm. Hall’s Window Center donated a $50 gift certificate to Chevy’s…someones getting a couple margaritas on us!

This event is a for a great cause the El Dorado County Habitat for Humanity. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. So throw on your dancing shoes and bring your appetite, we’d love to see you there.

Hall’s Window Center is a proud sponsor of the Family Fun Fest in Carmichael Park this Saturday August 14, 2010 starting at 10am. It is going to be a free and fun filled day with entertainment, family games, art projects, and give aways. Free music, DJ, youth performances, and local entertainers. Loads of free goodies, booths with art, crafts, food and local business and non-profit info.

Omni Youth Programs is a non-profit agency providing drug and gang prevention in Sacramento County since 1979 through youth and family, school site and in-home programs, small group counseling, community events, workshops for youth and adults, and community outreach.

So stop by the festival support a great casue and make sure you visit our booth!

• Must be used for remodeling or replacement (new construction does not qualify for the new tax credit)
• Product must be purchased and placed in service during 2009 or 2010

Tax Credit is 30% of the product cost up to a maximum of $1,500*

• $1,500 is a combined total for 2009 and 2010 energy efficiency improvements including other eligible items listed in the IRS Notice.
• Installation and other labor costs do not qualify for tax credit.

As of June 1, 2009, eligible windows and doors must have both:*

• a U-Factor equal to or less than 0.30 and;
• a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) equal to or less than 0.30

Homeowner needs proof of purchase and product performance*

• Proof of purchase: Sales receipt (Federal law requires itemized receipts) for product(s) only.
• Product performance: Product labels or manufacturer’s certification statement
